What a historical year we have had in Room 15!  Our term 1 inquiry was mainly about ‘plants’ including ‘Dig in’ sessions in which we either cooked or took care of the school garden.  We also experienced the ‘Juice Van’ where we chose different ingredients to make a smoothie.  Our term 2 inquiry was about ‘animation’ including a trip to the ‘Lopdell Cinema’. We also got the opportunity to visit the Tread Lightly Caravan.  Our term 3 inquiry was based on ‘The Olden Days’ including inquiry sessions where we split into different classes based on our particular interests: Inventions, Toys, Tools, Schools and Transport.  Our term 4 inquiry was based on ‘music and sound’ including a trip to the ASO - Auckland Symphony Orchestra.  This term we also had our first camp sleepover! This year we farewelled Joe and welcomed Josh and we had the support of our fabulous Teacher Aide Sarah. This funky bunch of children were a delight to spend 2017 with and are more than ready for their Year 4 adventures!
