The Hell Reading Challenge 2024

We are taking part this year in the Hell Pizza Reading Challenge - kids will receive a stamp on their pizza wheel for each book they read. After seven books they can get a free kids size pizza! It runs until January 2025.

Room 16 Book Art

Room 16 reviewed four picture books as part of the NZ Children's Book Awards. They recommended which picture books should be finalists in this year's book awards. One of the books they reviewed was 'Coney' by David Minty and Greg Parker - a sweet adventurous tale of a road cone who just wants to make it back to the roadworks. Their fabulous artwork which they made in celebration of the book is shown below.
