A group of our Year 5 students went to the Future Leaders Day at Waitemata Rugby Club last Tuesday. It was an awesome experience where they got to take part in a variety of activities to build their leadership skills.

They were lucky enough to meet Richie Patterson, an olympic weightlifter, who spoke to them about the power of failure and perseverance. Then they had a go at the Weetbix Try Challenge which was a long obstacle course - it even had a bouncy castle!
