The tamariki of Rūma Arotahi spent the end of last term researching people who were inspirational and made significant contributions to society.  They learned about people throughout history and the present day who have had an impact on the world around us.  In order to complete their research, they had to use multiple sources such as books, the Encyclopedia Britannica and articles. The tamariki became experts on the people they chose to study. They enjoyed learning about the persistence and resilience it takes to accomplish great things.
