The tamariki of Rūma 22 have loved learning about Matariki. We have done weaving and created beautiful woollen whetū to decorate the hall. We created goals for the New Year in honour of the wishing star, Hiwa-i-te-rangi. We wrote about each of the nine whetū of Matariki too.
