Walking School Bus (Auckland Transport) had a competition to win DC League of Super Pets movie tickets and merchandise. To enter, you had to say how you had been a superkid on the Walking School Bus.

Carena (Coordinator for the Deane/Highland/Derwent WSB) won movie tickets and Aran won a special prize pack for his entry.

Carena wrote "My son Zachary is a superkid because he has been on the WSB since he was in Year 1 (and is currently in Year 4) and has completed 925 walks on the WSB over the years."

Aran wrote "I am a walking school bus hero because I never cross without looking for cars, I never run on the road while cars are coming and I never cross the road while someone is distracting me."

Kaurilands currently has one Walking School Bus that comes along Deane Ave, Highland Ave and Derwent Crescent.
