Kia ora Whānau

A warm welcome back to you all!  We have completed a full week!  Lots of tired children (and adults) around!  Our Year 6 children return this afternoon from their wonderful camp at Finlay Park at Lake Karapiro.  Sounds like everyone attending is having an amazing time and we will have some photos in the next newsletter.

Staff organisation for 2019

The Senior Leadership team in 2019 comprises four Associate Principals plus Principal.  Each AP has school-wide roles as well as specific year group responsibilities.

Tracy Sutherland is the AP responsible for the Year 1 Team and the Year 0 children when they come in later in the year.

Jackie Taylor (Whaea Jackie) is the AP responsible for Year 2 and Year 6.

Erin Namajuska is the AP responsible for Year 3.

Grant O'Connor is the AP responsible for Year 4 and 5.

Year 1 at this stage has six classes running with the seventh due to open late March/beginning of April.  Hayley Jesperson is the Team Leader and is located in Room 17.    The team is as follows: Stacey Anyan Rm 14, Melissa Williams Rm 15, Micaela Bonnar Rm 16, Jaime Leigh Thompson Rm 18, Kirsten Pickett Rm 19 and Kim Morgan Rm 20.

Suzanne Freeman is the Team Leader of Year 2 in Rm 23. The team is as follows:  Lillian Bombay Rm 21, Abby Skeen Rm 22, Kara Wilkins Rm 24, Robyn Applegate Rm 25.

Hannah Pragert is the Team Leader of Year 3 in Rm 9.  The team is as follows: Rebecca Barrett/Hannah Pragert Rm 9, Amelia Le Cheminant/Lani Maoate Rm 10 (currently replacing Catriona Pianina who will return later in the term), Jenna Powell Rm 12 and Ben Fletcher Rm 13.

Linda Heckler is the Team Leader of Year 4 in Rm 5.  The team is as follows: Linda Heckler Rm 5, Hamish Morgan Rm 6, Kyle Ayres Rm 7 and Hannah Macpherson/Kim Williams Rm 8.

Sian Branks is the Team Leader of Year 5 in Rm 2.  The team is as follows: Frances O'Hanlon/Sarah Muthiah Rm 1 and  Sian Branks/Steve Van Nes Rm 2.

Josh Farrell is the Team Leader of Year 6 in Rm 3.  The team is as follows: Josh Farrell/Georgia Thompson Rm 3 and Hannah Kay/Stephanie Martin Rm 4.

If there is anything you wish to discuss about your child's progress or wellbeing it is always good to start with your child's class teacher. Sometimes you may also wish to speak to the Team Leader for your year level and then the Associate Principal if necessary.  We are really looking forward to working together with you this year for the best results for all our children.
