This term we started reading a new novel ‘Malamander’ by Thomas Taylor. When listening to this story, the suspense was greatly appreciated by everybody. Boy, we were treated to a lot of unexpected twists along the way! The two main characters (Herbert Lemon and Violet Parma) were by far the most interesting and daring people of the story. We were in our imaginative world trying to visualise many creatures. 

Check out our versions of the Mermonkey below. So many cliffhangers kept us on the edge of our seats the entire book and we are hoping to read book two! 

We will always remember this novel as our last one at primary school. What will be our first at intermediate?
