Year 5 Camp
The Year 5 cohort had a blast at Camp Adair in Week 2! The weather was amazing for us and despite the crazy weeks leading up to camp, the children were able to have a wonderful experience. Camp Adair ensured that our tamariki had a special time participating in exciting, new activities that were fun, muddy and challenging! A big highlight was when the Year 5 cohort all got to have a turn going down the Mudslide! Every single child had the biggest smile on their face as they sped down the bumpy slide and made a huge splash into the freezing cold muddy water. Another big thank you to all the parents who came along and helped at camp- we couldn’t have done it without you!
Ellie - “I really enjoyed kayaking because I got to experience something new”.
Isaiah - “I like going down the mudslide because I did the biggest splashes!”
Nathan- “ My favourite activity was kayaking because it was so much fun and a laughable experience. The only thing I found hard was crashing into the thorn bushes”.
Jett- “My best memory from Camp was Archery because I liked learning how to shoot the arrows and I learnt lots of new skills”.
