On behalf of the Kaurilands School Board, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Jo Augustine and the Senior Leadership Team for guiding our school through another turbulent year. While we have avoided lockdowns this year, Covid has loomed large and continued to have an influence right across the school programme.

As a school community, we are very lucky to have such dedicated and talented leaders. Jo and her team work tirelessly for all of our children, and should be very proud of what they achieve.

To the staff of Kaurilands school – thank you for all your hard work this year. I know that at times it has been a challenge. For those staff members leaving us this year, we wish you all the very best for what comes next.

To the parents and caregivers who volunteer their time for Te Whānau Āwhina, as parent help in classrooms, or for any of the other activities you are called upon for – thank you. The school could not function as well as it does without your support.

And finally, to our Year 6 leavers – congratulations on reaching this milestone. We know you will make us all proud as you move on to intermediate school.
