Rūma Tekau love taking part in the Kaurilands ‘Dig In’ programme this year! This is a fantastic experience that gives us a chance to take care of the gardens around the school, plant vegetables, cook or bake with produce from the garden and of course eat what we make!  So far this year we have made delicious carrot cupcakes, apple pies and hearty pumpkin soup with bread rolls.  We feel very grateful to have expert gardeners Sandra and Nancy guide us in our gardening adventures.  A huge thank you also to our parent helpers who come along to assist us in the kitchen, we really appreciate your assistance!  We can’t wait to see what we can gather in our next harvest and what we get to cook next!
