On Thursday 10th August 2023, Kaurilands School completed the entire full school training of their Emergency Management Plan which included conducting a full lockdown exercise.

The students and teachers should be congratulated for the way they complied with the correct procedures and the speed and skill at which the school was placed into lockdown followed by a controlled release from the lockdown and evacuation procedure. 

We can have full confidence that Kaurilands School has the knowledge and confidence to deal with a wide range of emergencies and incidents, intending to keep students, staff, and visitors to the school safe.
