The Year 5 Syndicate had a marvellous morning selling their goods and services in the Senior Block. During the term the students earned banker dollars by carrying out jobs. They had to think of a product to sell, do a survey on supply and demand of the product, produce or create it and sell it.
The children then used the money earned to buy goods and services provided by other at the Market Day. There were a huge variety of items and services for sale, from shoe shining, lessons on Mine Craft, ice cream, pancakes, cupcakes, cookies, face painting, stress relieving goods - to name but a few. As you can see from the photos, it looks like the toffee apples were a hit! This whole event was a great success and the students and teachers had a blast!
