News from Rūma Ono

Room 6 —

Since returning from lockdown Rūma Ono has been learning to write a variety of poems. We wrote Diamante, Limerick and Haiku poems.  Here are some examples of our wonderful work.

Limericks

There once was a school in Lockdown
They all had a really big frown
They worked on line
They biked all the time
All because of a virus shaped like a crown.
By Aidan

There once was a silly goat
Who lived on a rusty boat
He slept all day
Happily dreaming away
Bundled up in his warm furry coat
By Hannah

The package is coming just in time
But waiting really is just fine
My clothes are in it
I just can't wait
I may as well eat a lime
By Kirsten

Haiku Poems

And have playdates too!
By Charlotte

Unicorns
Unicorns are best
Unicorns make me laugh lots
I love unicorns
By Mia-Lee

Summer is so hot
Summer is the best season
Summer's so much fun
By Flo
