On Wednesday 2nd June Kaurilands Pasifika group celebrated their first Fiafia evening.  Since Term 1, Years 4, 5 and 6 Pasifika children have been working together each Thursday afternoon with a group of parents to learn about Pasifika culture and language.  At the Fiafia night, our group performed and entertained their families.  Our wonderful mothers, who have been running this group, Jody, Omega, Esse, Moana and Netia organised this event with amazing food, items and entertainment for us all to share.  The night was a huge success with 150 people in attendance.  We would love to have regular Fiafia nights and would encourage any parents to come and share their experiences with our group. Thank you all for your contributions of food for the evening, we were delighted with the turnout.
