In Rūma Iwa we have been learning how to use Spheros. A Sphero is a spherical robot that is controlled through an app on the iPad. We have been learning to program it to roll around, jump and change colour as we drive it through environments we have created. 

In the photos you can see the dinosaur themed map. The children had to move the Sphero from the starting point to a building safely without encountering any dinosaurs. We created this dinosaur theme as our class loved learning about dinosaurs this term as part of our New Zealand Histories Inquiry.
