Book Fair Rewards

We would like to say a huge thank you to our community for supporting our recent Scholastic Book Fair. Over $11,000 worth of books and accessories were sold during the week, of which we will receive $3,820.60 in Scholastic rewards for the school to spend on books and curriculum resources. Des Hunt Author visit

This week we were fortunate to have a visit from New Zealand children's writer Des Hunt as part of the nation-wide Storylines tour. Des spoke to our Year 4, 5 and 6 tamariki. What a wonderful visit! Des spoke about how be became a writer and entertained us all with his science experiments.

Returning library books & readers

We would be grateful if all library books could be returned by Friday 2nd December for our end of year stock-take. Please hunt around for library books and readers you may have at home. We need parent helpers to help with our annual Resource Room stock take in Week 8 (5th - 9th December). Summer Reading. Sign tamariki up for a bag of books to borrow to keep them going through the summer holidays. The library will be open in Week 9 for summer reading borrowing. Please fill out the google form to sign up your child for summer reading. Summer Reading Sign Up Sheet
