We are delighted to welcome Rachel Thorpe and Erin Namajuska to the Senior Leadership Team and are very proud of them both in taking on these roles.  Jackie Taylor and Tracy Sutherland of course continue in their roles as Associate Principals.   A brief outline of responsibilities is as follows for each Senior Leader:

Jackie Tayor - Associate Principal - contact person for parents of children in Years 4-6.

Tracy Sutherland - Associate Principal - contact person for parents of children in Years 1-3.  SENCO (Special Education Needs Co-ordinator) schoolwide contact.

Rachel Thorpe -  Innovation and Inquiry Leader across the school.  Digital responsibilities  and  CWSA (Children with Special Abilities).

Erin Namajuska -  Assessment and Reporting Leader.  A lot of the work Erin will be doing will involve working through our reporting processes which will replace National Standards.  Erin will still continue to teach two days a week in a Year 3 collaborative space - currently in the staffroom.

As Erin is now working as a member of the Senior Leadership Team Jenna Powell and Hannah Macpherson will share the Team Leader role in Year 3 for the rest of 2018.

I would like to warmly welcome Jody Becerra to the Board of Trustees.  Jody has been involved with Kaurilands School for many years and currently has a son in Year 3.  We are very much looking forward to working with Jody.
