Kaurilands Chess team have secured a 3rd place qualifying position at the upcoming ChessPower Nationals Championship.

A team of up to 5 players can look forward to competing at De la Salle College in Mangere in October.   Winning the West Auckland Primary Chess Champs in June and securing one of 5 qualifying spots was our team's automatic entry into the Champs. This convincing win has put the team in the 3rd qualifying spot and we are sure they will do us proud!  What an incredible achievement!
