Well done to our teams!

We took 2 teams to the annual Barfoot & Thompson North West Book Battle held at the stunning Te Manawa Library.  Our teams had been preparing since February by reading 5 set books and had to compete against teams from other schools, they had to answer 7 rounds of 10 questions on the required books plus 4 rounds of random books questions!  We are thrilled our 2 teams were placed in the top 10 out of 19 teams. Kaurilands Team A came 1st place with 73 points and Team B came joint 7th in a closely fought battle of book minds! The prizes included a trophy, books for the students and the school, a $100 book voucher for the school from Scholastic and cash prizes for the winning students from sponsors Barfoot & Thompson North Harbour.
