What a fantastic turnout to our Matariki Celebrations 2020!  Many thanks to all our whānau who turned up at the maunga to celebrate this special annual event. This year has been our biggest turnout to date and we hope everyone enjoyed the hikoi and breakfast, followed by our special Matariki assembly.

The performances by our tamariki were absolutely wonderful from our very little ones to our senior school representatives, every one of them are superstars.  We loved the show they put on.  A special thanks must go to Kim Williams and Matau Grant O'Connor for their extensive time spent in preparation for this event, nothing happens by itself and it is a great feat by these two leaders to bring this all together as they did today.  Thank you to all our staff for the hard work they put into preparing for this assembly, all the lovely kites, stars and painted students' faces.  Thanks also to the team in the staffroom for their preparation of the kai for this special event.  Many hands make light work!

Lastly, a special thanks to our families for getting up early and joining in, making this a memorable occasion for all.  Check out some of the photos below of our beautiful children.
