Room 5 have been learning about multiplication.  We created the Auckland city skyline by using arrays (rows across, times how many in a row).  This is just one of many ways we have used to learn how to multiply.  The word array is defined as an arrangement of objects, pictures or numbers in rows and columns.  Arrays are useful representations of multiplication concepts (among other ideas in Maths)
