Room 18 has been doing science experiments this week for our inquiry. We have been learning about hypotheses, observations and reactions. Take a look at some of the photos and writing below.

Today we put mentos in a coke bottle because we wanted the mentos to explode and go everywhere. I thought it would explode into my mouth. It looked brown and foamy.

We made bubbles on the blue table and it got big. I made three bubbles inside each bubble. My bubble was enormous.

Yesterday we did an experiment. We put skittles on a plate. Then we poured the water inside the middle of the skittles. Then slowly the skittles rose and it was a beautiful rainbow. I loved the experiment because of the rainbow. When we shook the plate it turned brown like soy sauce. It made me feel happy. We got to eat them in the classroom. It was yum. I loved it.
