A visit to Tiaki Expo, a showcase of student innovation for environmental problems..... and an exciting win for Kaurilands kids!

A group of students attended the Tiaki expo last Friday, an event that showcases secondary students innovative solutions to environmental problems in their communities. 

The group learned a lot and entered a quiz competition answering questions about the projects they had seen...... and they won! A 4 ft Meccanoid robot!

Projects included solar panels to charge devices, made by students for under $30, using algae to make bio fuel and a beehive for honey from school.
