Principal's Message

Jo Augustine —

Kia ora e te whānau

Congratulations to our End of Term 4 Principal's Award winners we are so proud of you all.

We made it! I honestly can't believe it! 2022 has been a very full on year in every way and it's time for a well earned rest for all. Our sincere thanks to you all for your amazing support as always this year, what an outstanding community you are!

Thanks to all our wonderful staff on another great year, I am so proud of you all. Particular mention must be made of the senior leaders - Erin, Tracy and Alana who are absolute superstars and keep this big machine moving. Thanks to all our fantastic support staff who we actually couldn't function without. Thank you to our Board of Trustees for outstanding governance of the school and for being awesome people and our amazing Te Whānau Āwhina for everything they do to help us.

2023

Lots of information will start coming your way about beginning of the year arrangements but the main couple of dates to note at this stage are two open afternoons before school starts on Tuesday 7th February. On Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd February, teachers will be in their classrooms between 1-3pm to welcome children and whānau if you would like to pop in. It's a nice opportunity to meet before school starts if you haven't already met.

Finally, our children. Farewell to our beloved Year 6 children, we will miss you. Come back and visit, this is always your place. Happy holidays to all our children, stay safe, wear sunblock and be kind to your families!
