Term 4 is well up and running. It will be a busy term with tons of events happening for our children throughout.

I really enjoyed sharing the Principal role with Charlotte last Thursday, she did an excellent job. Charlotte was very generous with the stickers, wrote lots of positive comments on children's work and made announcements across the school on the speaker amongst many other jobs. Anytime I feel like I need a rest or extra support I will call on Charlotte!

Next week is Week 3 and some events happening are: Adventure Afternoons for all children in Years 3-6 starting Monday and running for the next 6 Mondays between 11.30am -1pm.

Year 1 and 0 trip to Waitakere Gym in New Lynn on Wednesday 2nd November.

Shakeout Earthquake Drill on Thursday 3rd November at 12.30pm.

Coming up in Week 4:

Book Week! Monday - Friday activities will be happening everyday with the famous Book Parade on Wednesday 9th November from 9-10am to which you are all invited. See details below from Laura.

On Monday 7th November we will hold a Pasifika assembly for our whole school at 2pm in the hall.

On Tuesday 8th November we have a Year 5/6 cricket team involved in an interschool tournament.

On Thursday 10th November Year 6 children who will be attending GEIS next year have an Orientation session and on Friday children applying for the Enrichment programme at GEIS have testing.

Whole School Assembly - 11.30am Friday 18th November

Farewell assembly for Jocelyn Heremaia - Thursday 8th December 10am

End of year whole school community picnic on the field - Friday 9th December 

Year 6 Graduation - Monday 19th December 9-11am

Last day of 2022 school year is Tuesday 20th December. Children meet new teachers and visit new classrooms 10.30-11am, end of year assembly 11.30 - 12.30pm and children finish for the year at 1pm.
