Next week we will be celebrating Samoa Language Week (Vaiaso le Gagana Samoa).  There are a significant number of Samoan children in our school and we want to celebrate with them all and their aiga (families).  If your child would like to bring in an item from home which is from Samoa or if you would like to come in and share some language/music/art/information about Samoa and being Samoan that would be amazing!  Fa'afetai.

Next weekend is Queen's Birthday weekend with the public holiday on Monday 6th June.  A reminder that on Friday 3rd June, school is closed for children as we are holding a teacher only day.

The new Matariki public holiday is also coming up on Friday 24th June.  On Thursday 23rd June Kaurilands School will hold our annual hikoi up Mt Titirangi/Atkinson starting from 6.00am followed by a shared breakfast back at school in the hall.  Syndicate assemblies will be held throughout the morning which you are all welcome to attend.  More information will follow shortly.
