News from Rūma 7

Rūma Whitu had an incredible day out at Cornwallis Beach last week, and we can't wait to share the highlights! The weather was perfect for our adventure. The day kicked off with an epic sandcastle competition where creativity soared. Our tamariki then took part in team challenges that brought out their teamwork and problem-solving skills.

A scenic beach walk followed, with a scavenger hunt that had everyone searching high and low for hidden treasures. We also enjoyed a friendly game of beach cricket, with some impressive hits. The afternoon was a relaxed exploration of the beach, giving our students some well-deserved free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The bus ride was filled with noisy sing-alongs, making the journey just as fun as the destination! We even had a celebrity bus driver!
