NZ Police Helicopter Visit

Last week, the police helicopter and police dog unit came to visit our Year 6 students. The helicopter landed in the middle of our school field!

The pilot told us all about what it's like to fly the police helicopter, and we were able to look at the helicopter up close and inside the cockpit. We were also treated to a dog demonstration by police dog, Lex, and were even invited to give Lex a pat at the end.

It was a really special and memorable experience for all. A huge thank you to the NZ Police for taking the time to come and visit us!
