Kōtuitui Mathex Competition

Last Thursday, we had two teams participate in the Year 5 and Year 6 Kōtuitui Mathex Competition which was hosted here at Kaurilands. It involved fifteen teams from eight of our local primary schools. We finished with both teams on the podium! 

Kaurilands 1: Ethan, Matthew, Paige and Benji placed second and Kaurilands 2: Kabir, Huxley, Lee and Hao Chen placed third. 

It was great to see some of our wonderful mathematicians in action under competition pressure. They did so well and we are very proud of their efforts and team work.
