News from the Library

Welcome back! We hope you had a lovely summer  - we are very happy to have the children back in our Library enjoying the books.

Here is a few quick reminders. Our Library is open from 8.30am to 3.30pm daily. All classes visit the Library once a week with their classes. The Library is open at lunch for reading, issuing and returning books, crafts, drawing, Lego, chess and games. All students need a library bag to borrow books - books must go home and return to school in a library bag. Please see our borrower limits and lost or damaged book policy below. You are more than welcome to visit our Library with your child before or after school.

Top tips

1. Download the ePlatform app from the Apple and Google Play app stores. Also available on PCs, laptops and eReaders.

2. Look for your library and log in - you’ll only need to do this once.

3. Search for, borrow and read or listen to any book you want!

Restarting the Reading Habit for Adults

The benefits of reading for everyone are wide and varied, including reducing stress and anxiety (lowers blood pressure & heart rate), improving sleep, improving memory and focus, and improving mental health to name a few. Summer Reading Books

We hope our tamariki enjoyed reading their Library books over the summer holidays. We would appreciate if their books could be returned to the Library as soon as possible.
