Year 5 Camp

Wow! What a fabulous three days we all had at Year 5 Camp! After the disappointing sudden cancellation at the beginning of the year, and a long wait, we could finally make lasting memories and enjoy this incredible camp. The children enjoyed all things about camp life and had fun every step of the way.

You should all be very proud of your children. They gave every activity a go, faced their fears, got stuck into duties, supported their peers, didn't worry about the freezing temperatures and showed exceptional manners. Whether it be climbing the climbing wall, walking along high wires or beam, working together to complete team challenges, zooming down the mud slide, crossing the freezing river, trying their luck at archery, embracing the mud at the confidence course or singing by the camp fire - there were smiles and cheers of joy all around.

A massive thank you to our exceptional parent crew. We were incredibly lucky to have an outstanding group of parents join us. They really made this camp for our children and worked tirelessly supporting them and bringing the fun every step of the way.

The teachers were also absolute legends! A big thank you to Abby, Shannon, Riley, Jen and Kylie for their unwavering energy and commitment.

A special thank you to Alana for the incredible amount of organisation that went behind the scenes to bring such a successful camp to life. Organising one camp is no small feat but reorganising a second brought a whole lot more work and challenges.

Year 5 Camp was the best - long lasting memories have been made!
