News from Room 21

This term, the Year 2 classes are learning about habitats and animal adaptations as a part of our Amazing Animal's inquiry unit.

On Tuesday we visited Auckland Zoo. We learnt about the different 'super powers' (adaptations) that animals have and explored many different animal habitats.

It was so exciting to visit the outdoor classroom at the zoo where we learnt about animal 'super powers'. We also got to visit all the animals as we walked around.

Thank you to all the parents who helped supervise on the day.
