Watercare Works Next Week

We have received the following notice from Watercare regarding upcoming investigation work as part of the upcoming Nihotupu watermains project on Atkinson Road:

"Key updates as follows:

• We would like to let you know that Watercare has some upcoming investigations works starting on Monday 25 November 2024 until Friday 29 November 2024 at the corner of Kaurilands Road and Atkinson Road. These works are investigations to help inform our design for our upcoming Nihotupu watermain project and will take up to one week to complete. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9.00am – 3.00pm. Please refer to map below.

• The work involves hydro excavation to locate underground services, which may generate some noise. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we carry out these necessary investigations.

• For the duration of the works, traffic management will be in place between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, including a stop/go operation to manage the flow of traffic. Please allow extra time for travel and follow any traffic management signage or instructions provided by the onsite personnel.
