News from Rūma 8a

On Friday 8th November, Rūma 8 went to the New Zealand Maritime Museum. We learnt about how the early Polynesian people navigated the Pacific Ocean. We learnt how they used the stars, sun, moon, wind, waves, clouds, currents, and migratory birds and whales. We also got to sail on the Ted Ashby sail boat and were even lucky enough to see some bungee jumpers bravely jumping off the bridge!
