News from Rūma 11

Rūma 11 looked at the New Zealand artist Flox as part of our art inquiry this term. We talked about how Flox uses vibrant and bold colours to create works of art inspired by the fauna and flora of Aotearoa. Like Flox, Rūma 11 used stencils to create native bird pictures. Rūma 11 found it a bit tricky to hold the stencils still while painting so some of our Year 6 big buddies came to help us keep them still.
