YEAR 7 & 8 KAPA HAKA

Our beautiful new kapa haka uniforms arrived from Rotorua yesterday. The poutama design represents growth and determination to achieve goals and dreams. In the centre, is the College's cross representing our kura and the Kavanagh College community.

The students have busy rehearsing on a daily basis. This weekend the group are attending a noho kura (overnight school sleepover) to rehearse and bring the group together before the big week. Part of the noho includes a movie night and mass at St Joseph's Cathedral on Sunday morning.

We would love your support when our students take the stage next Thursday. The 7 & 8s are performing at 6.30pm and Pasifika Vibes are at 8pm. If you can't make it to the Edgar Centre, you can watch the performances live through the Otago Polyfest facebook page.
