Two Kavanagh groups swooped in to take prizes in this years' New Zealand Chamber Music Competition.

The Three Musikteers - Tobias Devereux (Piano), Sam Meikle (Alto Saxophone), and Oscar Robertson (Clarinet) performed Postcards from Silver Lake by Mark Carlson. They took away the KBB prize.

Serenity Hook (Trumpet) was in the ensemble 3rd Dimension who performed Pastorale by Eric Ewazen. This ensemble took the Adjudicators Award.

Great work to all who took part. These prizes only half acknowledge the time, skill and dedication our musicians and their tutors put towards their art.
