On Thursday 10 June, the annual Junior Catholic Schools Tournament was hosted by Kavanagh College and held in Dunedin.

Schools from Verdon, St Kevin's, St Peter's, St Mary's and St Joseph's Oamaru all competed in basketball, netball, rugby and futsal. 

The day was a great celebration of Catholic schools and the sport was played in great spirit. Congratulations to Verdon who won the overall day for the third year in a row. Special thanks to all the refs/umpires and staff who helped out on the day.
