The Formal
The College Formal is scheduled for Friday September 11 (next Friday).
Earlier this week we advised all Year 12 and 13 students of the decision-making around current restrictions.
School Balls are classified as ‘social gatherings’ not ‘school events’ and as such if we remain at Level Two the Formal next Friday could not proceed. If we go to Level One we need to work with the venue to ensure best practice so there could be some variations to our event.
In either scenario we will be convening with the Social Prefects – Abbey, Summer, Morgan and Zoe – on Monday morning to plot the way forward. We have some alternate plans in mind for both year levels.
Students are welcome to enter their forms any time up until the end of school on Monday. Payment can be made also, on the understanding that a refund may need to be made.
All going well we can tidy up deadlines on Monday morning so do not scramble just yet.
