Last week a group of enthusiastic senior students, Emily Kerr-Bell, Evie Snell, Russell McPherson, Judea Smith, Laura Aitchison and Georgia Middlemiss attended the Enviro Secondary Schools Hui.

The morning was spent getting to know environmentally conscious students from other schools and listening to inspirational speakers. We learnt about the Town Belt project, Kaitiaki, Generation Zero, Dunedin Youth Council - Elliot Blyth, Trade Aid and Conservation Volunteers. 

In the afternoon each school visited a project in action. We were warmly greeted by the folk from NEV Community Garden, a proud organisation that welcomes everyone to participate in caring for the garden to produce beautiful kai to share. Thank you NEV Community Garden for sharing this treasure with us.
