Next Tuesday 13 June at Toitu Early Settlers Museum come along and meet the personalities who made up the exciting and colourful community at Otakou in 1840.

The Year 10 Drama students will perform at 11.00am, 1.30pm and 5.30pm in the Museum's galleries. You will also meet Edward Weller,  Octavius Harwood, Edwin Palmer, William Haberfield, Louis Le Breton, Chief Karetai and Chief Taiaroa. The performance re-enacts the signing of the 'Treaty of Waitangi' at Otakou on 13 June 1840.
