Tena Koutou Katoa Greetings

We are looking forward to a great turnout on Sunday for Open Day 2017. Thanks to all student volunteers who are helping to showcase the school. The natural pride our students have in their school is something to behold.

The government has just announced it is scrapping the school decile system - not before time. However, we have to ensure New Zealand maintains its ability to weight funding streams where they are most needed. There is an unsettling amount of economic disparity occurring in the schooling system which means not all kids in New Zealand are getting an equal go. The net result is we all lose in the long run.
