Young Enterprise Update

Jill Armstrong —

The team has not slowed down during the holiday break and continued to promote their products with a range of media.

Hayley was interviewed live on Radio NZ Afternoons with Jesse Mulligan. (Link:https://www.rnz.co.nz/national/programmes/afternoons/audio/2018804274/student-enterprise-creates-woolly-wedge-product). We also featured in the following media outlets:

A day’s intensive filming at a local sheep farm produced an excellent reel of material to edit for our promotional video. We managed to cut the footage from over seven minutes to just over two minutes. We will share this video via the newsletter and it will also be used by Mitre10 for their promotional of The Woolly Wedge. The video will be used to promote sales on our website. Wayne Alexander from FYI Media kindly filmed the material and is producing the video at no cost. We are really grateful for his kindness and expertise.

We met with Firebrand to finalise the packaging design and Dunedin Print have kindly offered to make a large promotional banner free of charge.

Tonight we are attending the Otago Chamber of Commerce BA5 networking event to continue to promote our product range.

We are really enjoying the journey and look forward to reaping the benefits in the near future.
