Instrumental Lessons at Kavanagh College

Georgie Watts —

Music is thriving here at Kavanagh College, and instrumental lessons are available during school time.

Woodwind, Brass and Strings are offered through the Itinerant Music Teachers scheme. You would not pay for lessons in these instruments, but you would pay for the hire. The hire fee for a school instrument is $150 per year to cover repairs and replacements. We have a limited number of instruments, so if you wish to play one of these instruments but there are no more school ones available, you can hire them (by the term) from KBB Music (Rockshop) or Beggs Music. If you hire a school instrument the fees would be paid directly to the school Bursar. Full-year hire fees will still be charged if student decides to stop lessons partway through the year.

The Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano and Vocal tutors are private tutors who offer lessons in school time. They set their fees for the lessons and should be paid directly in advance of lessons.

Here is where you can sign up for lessons.
