Victoria Pleace, Year 7, competed in the cheerleading South Island Show Offs over the weekend with her club Eclipse Cheerleading.

She had two events, a full team routine and a stunt group. This was her first competition and both teams scored well receiving a silver and gold medal in their divisions.

There were 370 participants ranging from preschoolers to university age, representing eight clubs from Wellington through to Dunedin.
