Shave for a Cure

We are extremely excited to announce that Kavanagh College will be participating in Shave for a Cure at the end of this term.

Shave for a Cure is a charity designed to raise funds for people living with blood cancer or other related conditions. The money that we raise will go towards research, advocacy for patients and helping these people and their families overcome this challenge in the hopes of recovering and being able to continue living their lives to the full.

Jack Harris, Ewen Clarke-Wallace, William Marsh, Oli King, Jimmy Gallagher, Mickle Jose and Enrique Garcia-Martin from year 13 will step up to the challenge and get their hair shaved clean off.

In addition to this, the school will have a Crazy Hair Day on the last day of term (the same day as we shave). This means students can style their hair any way they want, even use wash out dye. Bring a gold coin donation and this money will also go towards helping people with blood cancer.

If you would also like to donate to the page then that would be greatly appreciated, Any amount helps! The link is https://shaveforacure.co.nz/t/kavanaghcollegeteam.

Thank you all so much.
