Easter Greetings

Glory and praise to You, Risen Saviour, for you bring light to our darkness, joy to our sorrow and the fullness of love to our reluctant hearts.

This week is Holy week, this is the week that leads us to Easter Sunday; it follows the events that lead to the death and resurrection from the dead, of Jesus Christ.

On Tuesday 30th of March, three teams travelled to Invercargill for the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival.

The Vision Hearing Technicians from Population Health team, Southern District Health will be visiting to screen all Year Seven students for distance vision on 4th May 2021.

Year 13 Geo took a trip to Tunnel and Tomahawk Beaches last Friday to learn about the natural processes that have interacted to create the formation of the beaches.

Last Tuesday Year 10 students Daisy Jarvie, Abby Simpson, Sophie Golden, Ryleigh Makiiti, and Aya Oseki headed to Auckland for three and a half days competing in the NZ 3v3 Basketball Nationals.

Congratulations to Year 11 student Georgia Kennedy who has been selected to attend the New Zealand Under 17 Women's Football camp in Auckland from 27 April - 30 April.

It is wonderful to have so many volunteer student coaches to work with our junior netballers.

On Saturday 27 March, Taylor Hamilton successfully completed her Shodan grading with Seido Karate.
