Yesterday the Agribusiness class returned to Well’s dairy farm in Outram to observe first-hand the milking process.

Over the weekend Kavanagh’s Debating club went to their annual regional debating competition to compete against schools from all over Otago and Southland. The competition involves five debates over the course of the weekend and provides the chance to get great feedback from university-level debaters to improve their skills.

The annual Kavanagh College Cross Country is coming up on Friday 4th May at Kettle Park. As always participation is compulsory for all Year 7 – 10 students.

Just a reminder to all netballers the importance of representing your school. Here at Kavanagh College we have worked really hard with developing our players and have great coaches and resources available to shape our netballers into amazing young athletes.

At the Year 7 & 8 age group in 2018 and beyond, Dunedin Netball believe it is valuable to give more opportunities for players to experience tournaments as well as still encourage the competitive traits of players. The rationale for this, alongside NNZ’s review, is to keep more players in our great sport for longer.
