Please share these expectations with everyone who uses the turning circle to drop off or collect your children. For safety reasons, there is no pedestrian access through this area.

To use this turning circle, children must be able to independently

· Get into and out of their vehicle from the passenger side

Motorists must

· Not park in the staff parking area between 7:30-4:00pm, Monday to Friday

· Keep Clark Street clear, pulling over to the left when heading towards the turning circle to allow oncoming traffic to pass

· Drive carefully and slowly within the turning circle

· Move as far along the pathway as possible to allow other vehicles to pull in behind

· Stay inside their vehicles

· Leave the pick-up area if their child is not waiting for them, turning left and doing a circuit around Simla Crescent, Khandallah Road, Box Hill and Clark Street before returning to the turning circle

· Turn left only when leaving the turning circle

· Not queue on broken yellow lines as this causes congestion and hinders traffic flow

In the morning

· Children let themselves into the school grounds using the latched gate.

In the afternoon

· Children go directly to the gate and wait with the duty teacher

· Children are not permitted to play on any playgrounds while they wait.

· Children not collected by 3:10pm are taken to the school office to wait for parents
